It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of James Emberley of Southern Harbour, on November 24, 2024, at the age of 90. He was surrounded by his loving family, who were his pride and joy.
Leaving to mourn his loss, his four sons Tony (Linda), Ambrose (Phyllis), Clyde (Carol) and Jamie (Donna); his three daughters Nora (Vince), Mary (Darrel) and Ada (Bill); 13 grandchildren Jordan (Pam), Janel (Chad), Christoper (Tayrn), Krista, Adam (Cassie), Amanda (Brett), Evan (Victoria), Kelsie (Ryan), DJ (Holly), Brandon (Heidi), Trent (Stacy), Kielly (Josh) and Chloe (Nathan), and 17 great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by his loving wife of 52 years, Mary Ann, his parents Joseph and Mary, and other members of his family.
Dad was so strong and fought to the bitter end to stay with us, but there were just too many things combined to fight, and we had to let him go. He lived for his family, and it broke our hearts to let him go. We pray now that he is reunited with mom and all the family members who went before him. He will be loved and missed always.
Resting at St. Francis Community Church, Southern Harbour, with immediate family visitation on November 25th from 3:00 to 7:00 pm and open to the public for visitation from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Pubic visitation on November 26th from 10:00 am – 9:00 pm and on November 27th from 9:00 am – to 12:00 pm. Funeral to take place at 2:00 pm.
Due to severe scent allergies of some members of the immediate family, we ask that any visitors refrain from wearing any scented products.
