Doreen Branton

BRANTON, Doreen, It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful Mom, Doreen Branton, at the young age of 80 years. Mom passed peacefully in her home in Thornlea, which is where she wanted to be.

Mom lived & enjoyed life to the fullest every day. From going out in the boat, to eating out at restaurants (especially Chinese restaurants & Montys’) & she especially enjoyed her days spent with 2 of her sisters, a.k.a. The Golden Girls.  She knit for Nonia in St. Johns for 50 years & her many sweaters, mitts & socks are seen, likely all over the world. Mom was a member of the United Church choir & was also a lifetime member of the UCW & supported & enjoyed the church greatly. She was also an avid ‘Skipbo’ player & loved a game of bingo.

We will look for you among the stars

And whisper words of love to you

But never say goodbye

Until we meet again Mom
