Words cannot express our heartbreak as we announce on August 14, 2018, (our mother , grandmother, sister, aunt ,and friend )Judy Blundon , nee Slade , who was carried by the angels into heaven to be with our dad William Blundon who passed away May 2017. Also awaiting for  her are her two beautiful grandchildren Ashleigh and Brooke , parents Winnie and George Slade , in laws urias and Anne Blundon, sisters and brothers Donna , Will, Fred , Margaret and Ina.

Mom was surrounded by love as she passed at the Leonard A miller centre with Cynthia (Darryl ) , granddaughter and most treasured gift Brianna,David ( Kurt ) . Also left to mourn are her “boys” Greg and Jeff White. She will be deeply missed by her brothers Dennis ( Brenda) and Kevin (Dianne ), her nieces , nephews and many close friends . Thank you the palliative care unit at the Miller centre, home care workers, and oncology team and all those who have supported mom in the last few years.
Funeral arrangements are with Holloway’s funeral home in Whitbourne . Visitations will occur on August 16 -17 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 at St. John the Baptist church in Chapel arm. Burial will take place at 2:00pm on Saturday August 18, 2018.  Internment to follow at St. John the Baptist cemetery on Long harbour road.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Daffodil Place cancer centre.

  22. Cynthia, Darryl, Brianna, David, Kurt and all of Judy’s Family, Our sincere sympathy on Judy’s passing. She was not only a beautiful person but a wonderful mom, mom in law, grandmother and friend. We got to know Judy and Bill from them visting their daughter, Darryl and Brianna. Immediately we knew the love she had for her family. She is now safely in the loving arms of Bill and surrounded by her granddaughters and the rest of her family.   28. I met Judy six years ago, when she took me under her wing at my first breast cancer retreat. She was one of the most caring, loving and genuine women I have ever met. I regret that I will not make it to her memorial service. Sending loving thoughts and prayers to her family.
