April 18, 1924 – August 25, 2020

With saddened hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother Kathleen Gregory (nee Frampton), 96 years of age on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at the Private Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear, with her family by her side.

She is predeceased by husbands John Baldwin Sr., Stephen Gregory and special friend Ralph Mercer, Sons Charlie, Joseph & Clarence Baldwin, Son-in-Law Dawson Harris and Grandson Corey Baldwin. Leaving to morn with fond and loving memories her sons Tony (Ella) Baldwin, John Jr. (Shirley) Baldwin, daughter Venita Harris and Daughter-in-Law Trixie Grout (Bill)   & Clarice Baldwin. 13 Grand Children, 18 Great-Grand Children and 3 Great-Great Grand Children.

She enjoyed life to the fullest and will be dearly missed by her family, relatives and a large number of friends.

Cremation has taken place and unfortunately, due to these difficult times, there will be no service. A celebration of her life will be planned at a later date when family and friends are able to get together.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Trinity United Church, P.O Box 89, Blaketown, NL,  A0B 1C0 or to a charity of one’s choice.

  5. So Sorry to here this news, we had some good times with Kathleen when she resided at Shag Rock she was quite the character full of life and lots of stories. Our condolences go out to all who were part of her life and no doubt there were many, keep all the memories close she will be missed. May she rest in peace!

  6. To the Baldwin family. So sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Gregory. She was a lovely lady whom I got to know while working at Trixie’s, with Cory. We also saw her many times while she was a resident of Shag Rock Manor. When the TBS Salvation Army held a service there she would always ask me if I was going to sing . God bless her. May God give you all the strength that you need in these days and the days ahead.

  9. My heart reaches out to all the family at this time loss. I, too, loved her dearly. I always enjoyed visiting her and listening to her stories and praying with her. She always ended my prayer with the childhood one her mother taught her…I prayed it tonight to end my own prayers.

    She had a wonderful God-filled life and has now inherited her reward. Heaven has a precious new angel! 💕💕Love and blessings

  10. To all of Aunt Kathleen’s Family, we are so saddened to hear of her passing. You have been blessed to have Had her with you for such a long time, but, it’s never long enough. We hope the many memories you have made together will bring you some comfort. Aunt Kathleen once mentioned to myself, and my sister Judy over a game of cards , that upon her passing, she wanted The Far Side Banks of Jorden sang. She is now at peace and with the loved ones gone before her, those she missed so much, on those far side banks of Jorden.

  16. Very sorry to hear of your mothers passing. A very lovely pleasant lively and friendly lady. I only got to know her in recent years when I retired but she was a fun person to know. My deepest sympathy to the family. RIP Kathleen .
