HILLIER, Leonard Harvey, Passed peacefully away on Monday, January 15, 2018 at the Miller Center, after a short battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving wife and children & family, Leonard Harvey Hillier age 63 years.

Predeceased by his loving parents Raymond and Leah Hillier, father -in-law, Emerson Mercer, grandparents  Fredrick and Rhoda Smith,  Richard & Sarah Hillier,brother Reginald Stanley Hillier, brother-in-law, George Mercer also nephew and great nephew.

Leaving to mourn with loving and cherished memories of 41 years wife Maxine, daughter Jennifer (Shawn) Drover, son Stephen (Colleen) Hillier, 4 precious grandchildren; Owen, Braden, Hannah and Shawna, mother-in-law, Ruby Mercer.

Brothers & sisters; Hilda (Calvin) Reid, Ron (Jean), Clyde (Bonnie), Linda (Dave), Rose (Howard) Huges, Andy (Sherry), Fred (Gloria), Donna, Allison (Bob).

Brother & sisters-in-law; Don (Tina) Mercer, Brenda, Lois (John) Wakeham, Sandra, Darlene (Leonard), Lorraine (Kevin) Hall also a large number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

Resting at Holloway’s Funeral Home, Whitbourne. Visitation Wednesday 4:00 – 9:30 pm. Thursday 10:00 am – 9:30 pm. Friday 10:00 am – 12:00 noon.

Funeral service will be held at the Anglican Church, Blaketown on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Inurnment at a later date.

No flowers by request. Donations may be made to the Harvey Hillier Memorial Fund.

Kellie Janiel Reid

REID, Kellie Janiel….. April 2, 1975 -January 11, 2018. It is with heavy hearts, we announce that Kellie Janiel Reid has passed peacefully away, in the arms of her mother, father at her side, surrounded by so much love, winning her fight miraculously after 7 1/2 years with cancer.

Predeceased by grandparents Cleophas and Josephine Reid. Raymond and Mary Warren, uncle Timothy Reid and Donald Pretty.

Leaving to mourn is her most prized treasure daughter Mari Addison who lights up any room. Her partner Eric, mom and dad Janice & Jerry; brothers, Garett, Justin (Chandra) niece Emma, sister Kyla (Craig) nephew Gavin. sister-in-law, Valerie and family, brother-in-law Peter (Robyn), Korben & Abigail. Also many aunts, uncles and cousins. Kellie was blessed to have had many friends in B.C. and Newfoundland. Resting at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Chapel Arm. Visitation on Tuesday 10:00 am – 9:00 pm. Wednesday 10:00 am
to 12:00 pm.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Kellie will be laid to rest with her nan and pop, Ray and Mary Warren at the Anglican Cemetery, Chapel Arm. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to her daughter Mari for a trust fund.

Verdon Higdon

HIGDON, Verdon, Passed peacefully away on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Health Science Centre surrounded by his loving family; Verdon Higdon, age 76 years.
Predeceased by his loving parents Samuel & Ethel Higdon; parents-in-law James & Minnie Newhook, brother Clifford, sister Elva, all brothers and sisters -in-law. Leaving to mourn with loving & cherish memories of 53 years, wife Iris Higdon; daughters: Carla (Jeff), Stephanie (Lorne), sons; Terry (Brenda), Shawn, Rodney (Caroline). 9 precious grandchildren; Natasha (Steven), Michelle (Michael), Allie (Shane), Casandra, Jordan, Courtney, Bradon (Mave), Shauna, Christina. 6 precious Great Grandchildren; Chloe, Kylee, Natalie, Mackenzie, Lexie, Brody. sisters: Nettie (Eric), Louise (Sam), Rosalind, Sheila.
