Maisie Rowena Reid

Passed suddenly but peacefully away with family and friends by her side, Maisie Rowena Reid at the age of 66 years old.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her beloved husband of 48 years, Austin, her daughter Krissy and son-in-law Jason, along with a large circle of family and friends, including special friends, Roy and Linda Gosse and sister in law Marion.
Maisie is pre- deceased by her parents Howard and Jane March and brother Rendell.  Leaving behind sisters Marilyn, Margaret, Betty and Emmeline and brothers Levi, Aubrey and Dennis.
Maisie was born on March 1, 1954 in Greens Harbour, Trinity Bay. On July 15, 1972 she married the love of her life Austin.
Maisie was a quiet, gentle person with a love of the outdoors and animals, especially her little dog, Molly. She was best known for her unwavering faith and service to her God, Jehovah, to whom she dedicated her life when she was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in the year 1980.  Maisie will be forever remembered and loved by all who knew her.  She passed peacefully, holding fast to her assured hope of God’s  promised new world on a paradise earth soon at hand. Forever loved until we meet again.
Special thanks to the dedicated staff of the Carbonear General Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, especially nurses Kelly, Annie, Jessica and Paula, who made our short stay comfortable, and for their care and support.
