MARIE CATHERINE PINSENT

OCT 28, 1937 – JUN 08, 2022 (84)

It’s with a heavy heart we announce the passing of our Mom, Marie Pinsent, on June 08, 2022 at Glenbrook Lodge, St. John’s, NL. Predeceased by her son, Gerry, and husband, Anthony.  Left to celebrate her life and legacy of love are her daughter Kim, son Joe, grandchildren Sean (Amiee),  Colleen, Ashley, Brooklyn and great-grandchild Harley.

Marie was born in Low Point, Conception Bay and grew up in Caplin Cove. She met the love of her life, Anthony, and married him at the tender age of 16. They lived all their life in Bellevue and were married for 62 years.

Anyone who met Marie could easily tell she loved to laugh and had a clever disposition. You needed to wake up pretty early to get one over her!  She loved her family and especially her husband Anthony(most of the time). She was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

A special thank you to the exceptional staff at Glenbrook Lodge who gave Marie loving care during her stay there. It was greatly appreciated!

Thank you as well to Holloway’s Funeral Home for the service and guidance provided at this time.

Rite of Christian Burial, Funeral Service for Marie to be held at Sacred Heart Church, Bellevue, at 2:00 pm Saturday, June 11, 2022. Eulogy before service.
