Mom was as gentle as a butterfly and absolutely loved the company of Family and friends. Always ready with that infectious smile or a funny story. She was passionate about her church, the choir, her lodge, the ACW The LOBA and approached each with a truly spiritual enthusiasm. Mom will also be remembered as fantastic with a pair of knitting needles, knitting, a lifelong passion. A skill acquired at a tender age she constantly heard “For the love of God can you put down the needles” and “Yes Bet I know, just one more row”. Over the years she created a treasure trove of socks, mitts, thumb-gluttons for dad, christening gowns, blankets, baby clothes and cherished heirlooms that will last for centuries. Most importantly she left her love and memories.
