Drover, Peggy Lorraine March 10, 1963 – May 23, 2023 It is with greatest sorrow that we, the family of Peggy Lorraine Drover, announce her peaceful passing on May 23, 2023, surrounded by her beloved family at the Carbonear General Hospital at an incredible age of 60 years. Predeceased by her mother, Carmel Drover; father, Walter Drover; brother, Walter Drover Jr.; sister, Lillian Warren; brother-in-law, Malcolm Warren; and special niece, Abigail Piercey. Leaving to celebrate her life are her brother and sister-in-law, Cecil and Gail Drover; nieces, Lisa (Terry) Piercey, Penny Drover, Vanessa (Jeffrey) March, Natasha (Stephen) Langer; nephews, Dennis (Lois) Warren, Jamie (Kim) Warren; and their children who were the light of her life, Daniel, Faith, Hannah, Kyle, Liam, Benjamin, Jordan, Carter, Emily, Gavin, Isabella, Sophia, and Tori. We would be remiss not to include her loving home care workers, Bella Lundrigan, Lori Hutchings, Doreen Hutchings, and Marie Sooley. Peggy was a tremendous light; A kind, caring and compassionate woman who always thought of others and held a heart of love and faith that some would say was made of pure gold. To say she will be missed doesn’t seem to measure the immense sadness we bear as we prepare to say our final goodbyes. Our gratitude to you, Gail, is beyond expression. You dedicated your life to provide a home for our dear sister and aunt, a home where a heart was truly felt. You fought barriers and overcame obstacles that some would never be able to bear to ensure that you were advocating for Peggy and ensuring her health, care, and safety. You ensured she knew she was loved, and she loved you so. You were her tower in a storm, her angel on earth while she is now yours in Heaven. Visitation will be held at Holloway’s Funeral Home, Whitbourne, Thursday, May 25th from 2:00pm – 4:00pm and 7:00pm – 9:00pm.
