Maxine Minnie Thorne May 25 1942 – July 25 2019It is with a heavy heart that we the family of Maxine Thorne, mother, sister, sister-in-law, and aunt, announce her sudden passing at the Health Science Hospital on July 25.Predeceased by her husband Rex Thorne. Parents Hazel and Maxwell Snelgrove. In-laws John and Lydia Thorne, Edward Thorne, Jane and Harry Newhook, Gerald Peddle and Arthur Thorne.Leaving to mourn are her children Wendy and Raymond. Sister Phyliss (Frank) Tilley. In-laws Marina Peddle, Edith Thorne, Blanche (Saul) Upshall, Bernard (Louise) Thorne, Beatie Thorne, as well many nieces , nephews and friends.When you closed your eyes and soared to the Heavens, I could hear the faint flutter of your wings as you left.Resting at Good Shepherd Church Norman’s Cove. Visitation Saturday and Sunday 2:00-4:00 PM 7:00-9:00 PM Monday 10:00 AM-12:00 PM.Funeral on Monday July 29@2:00 PM No flowers by request.
