Marion White, Long Cove
Today we lost the matriarch of our family.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our precious Mom, Marion. Gone to be happily reunited with her Husband Jerry and family members gone before.
‘our loss is heaven’s gain’.   Marion was predeceased by her husband Jerry, Parents Arthur and Dorcas Temple, Sons Wendall and Rick, Daughter Pauline Smith, Grandson Brian Smith and son in law, Ray Saunders; Brothers Levi Temple, Cyril Temple, Jake Temple and Gladys, Sister Julie Warren and Gordon, Sister Pearl Whitten and Charles. Sister Emily Layman and Will. Sister in law Doris Temple.  Leaving to mourn Daughter Helen, Sons Ross (Denise), Curt (Tina), Clem (Janet). Brother Clem Temple, Son in law Garland Smith, Sister in Law, Elsie Temple.
16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild. Her care workers Molly, Andrea, Lillian, Shirley, Irene who’s been her family the past 2 1/2 years. Also Deanna, Jennie, Evelyn, Sandra, Debbie, Amanda and Lori who were always available when we needed someone to fill in.

Marion was a loving mother, a friend to many, a hard working and generous soul who served many meals to friends and family.  Her home was always open to everyone  She loved music and a good time. She was in her glee when some of the crowd turned up with guitars for a sing song, especially her brother Cyril.  You are my sunshine was her favorite song and she could sing it up until recently.

As an expression of sympathy donations to the Janeway Children’s Hospital or a charity of ones choice would be appreciated.
Visitation will be at Holloways Funeral Home, Whitbourne on Saturday,  June 25  from 7-9 pm (Family) and Sunday June 26 from 10:00 am -5:00 pm for Family and Friends.

Funeral Service will be held at Good Shepherd Church, Norman’s Cove,  Tuesday June 28 at 2:00 pm.

Remember me with smiles not tears for all the joy throughout the years, don’t dwell on thoughts that cause us pain, we will see each other again.  I am at peace try to believe, it was my time I had to leave. But what a view I have from here, I see your face and feel you near. Whatever you want to do, do it now. There are only so many tomorrows.
