James Patrick Kelly

With  saddened hearts we announce the passing of James Patrick Kelly on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at the Lion’s Manor in Placentia

He is predeceased by his parents, Pad and Alice Kelly, parents-in-law , Jack & Monica Burke, Brother-in-law Gerard Brothers and his twin brother Patrick.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 26 years, Catherine, sister Patsy, his nephew’s Curtis(Amy) Brothers, Evan Brothers, Christopher (Erin Burke, Timothy (Alama)  Burke, and Caine (Michelle) Burke, nieces Leann Brothers, Sonya (Steve). Brothers-in-law Roger Burke, Chris (Lydia) Burke, Also great-nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Francis Xavier Parish, Long Harbour on Saturday, September 24th, 2022 at 10:30 am

Special thanks to the staff and doctors at  The Lion’s Manor for all their care and kindness. Special thanks to Roxanne & Felix and his friends and family

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society.

  1. My deepest condolences to Cathy and Jimmy’s family on his passing. Growing up in Long Harbour it was always a pleasure to be in Jimmy’s presence. We shared many a great times and good laughs. Godspeed my friend. Rest in Peace.
