Alice Mary Kelly (nee Bruce)

Alice Mary Kelly (nee Bruce) passed peacefully away on December 17, 2016 at 99 years of age.

Predeceased by husband Patrick Kelly, 3 children at birth, Brothers; Thomas, James, Morris, Dennis and Michael. Sisters; Susan Griffiths and Catherine Bruce.

Leaving to mourn Sister in laws; Camillia Bruce, Sophie Bruce, Jean Hurley and Anastasia Keating. Son James (Cathy) Kelly, Daughter Patricia (Gerard) Brothers, Grandchildren; Curtis (Amy), Evan, Leann and Sonya. Great Grandchildren; Taylor, Patrick and Lucy.

Special thanks to Placentia Health Care Centre , Dr. Mongat and nurses. Also the staff of Beachside Manor.

Resting at St. Jeromes Catholic Church in Long Harbour. Visitation to take place on Monday December 19 from 4pm to 9pm, Tuesday December 20 from 10am to 2pm and 4pm to 9pm. Wednesday December 21 from 10am to 12pm. Funeral service to follow at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Please accept my condolences at this time on the passing of your mom…….one of the most selfless, kindest and lovable woman who I have ever had the pleasure knowing …I knew her for years through her sister Bruce family on Jerseyside but we had grown to become closer when she moved into Beachside Manor…….Mrs Kelly , I am going to miss you so much and you have a little piece of my heart gone with you …..as you would say so often to me ” loves ya “…..   4. RIP Alice. You were my teacher in Grade 3 and I have only loving memories of how you treated me! You were a wonderful person and you lived to be a great old age! I hope we will meet again, when we are both on the other side!

  5. Condolence to all the Family. I will miss you Sweet Lady. She was always a pleasure to visit. I would say to her do you need anything and she would say with a grin and point to her Eyes and Ears. RIP. You are now with all your heavenly Family.

  7. Jimmy, Patsy and family… my condolences on the passing of your Mom and our Aunt Alice. She will always be remembered as someone who always cared so much about her immediate and extended family. Mom and her were inseparable and her love for all of us was undeniable. I cherish all the times our families spent together in Long. Hr., at the cabin etc… and we will all will miss her hearty laugh and wonderful smile. God Bless you Aunt Alice and may you rest in peace… Amen.

  9. God has opened his gates to another Dear Angel .Jimmy And Patsy I surely feel your pain! Always remember Alice for her witty jokes and sense of humor! Manys a feed of fish and turrs I would send to her! She loved that kind of food so much! To all The Kelly Family My Deepest Condolonces! R.I.P Dear Alice.

  10. A lady that would always put a smile on your face, any time I would walk into her home she would always have a fresh tray of home made raisin tea buns. I saw her this summer and she said that she was at bingo and won $15.that was a million.She will be missed.
