Smith, Philip Stephen – Passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017, Philip Stephen Smith.

Beloved son of Melvin Smith (Joan Browne) and Trudy Leyte (Edward).

Also mourning his passing, sister Samantha (Michael); special niece Kimberly; step-siblings Dillan, Brandon (Robyn) and Rebecca Murphy; grandparents Laura Smith, Sus and Vincent Norman and a large circle of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Arrangements entrusted to Holloway’s Funeral Home, Whitbourne. The family would be grateful for donations to Stella’s Circle (stellascircle.ca) for their work in mental health.

Visitation Sunday November 5th from 1 pm – 6 pm.

Arrangements have been made for a private family service.

    Please accept my sincere condolences during your loss. I am a very close friend of Phillips special friend Kayla and had the pleasure of being in his presence on a few occasions. I am sincerely saddened by his passing and wishing you all the most love and support during this time.

    so sorry, I had meet Philip just after is was born and later came knocking on my door many a times, and I can still hear him to this day asking for manatha, he was a sweet and adorable kid…thinking of you all at this very sad and emotional day..Shirley, frank.

  5. I am very sorry for your loss. I know this is a very hard time for your family. I knew Philip in school and for a while was pretty close. I still have note from him that we passed back and forth between classes. I remember going on cadet outing with him and all the fun we had. I even remember graduation and the fun we had that night. He martched with one of my best friends, Shealyn Jerrett. I would have be there to show my respect to Philip but sadly I had to work. My thoughts and prayers are with you all today.

  6. I was shocked and saddened to hear about Philip’s death. I am so very sorry for your loss and my heart goes out to you, as I can only imagine your sorrow. Philip and my son have been friends for a number of years, and I had the pleasure of being in Phil’s company a number of times. He was always so polite and friendly, and had interesting things to say. I wish you hope and peace during this difficult time.

  9. Your beautiful boy went to school with my son Brett and he dropped by the house on many occasions. During my time at Crescent, I had the privilege of knowing Philip through our chats in the hallway and his involvement with the reserves. While there are no words to truly understand what you are going through, rest assured that there is compassion and love surrounding you from near and far.
