Lewis Wilbourne Cooper

Lewis Wilbourne Cooper passed peacefully away, Wednesday Dec 27th, at the Miller Center, with his daughter Jessica by his side. He leaves to mourn his daughters Jessica Cooper and Holly McConville, grandchildren Jonah and Noelle McConville, sisters Alma Snow, Nancy Cooper (Clayton), Cynthia Temple (Gary), Wavey Smith, Irene Mercer (Selby), Helen Cramm (Eric), and Susan Newhook, brothers Eric Cooper (Shirley), and Aubrey Cooper, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Pre-deceased by his son Lewis Cooper Jr., sister Olive, brother Lawrence, and mother and father, William and Mary Cooper. Resting at Holloways Funeral home, Whitbourne, Thursday Dec 28th 6-9pm and Friday Dec 29th 2-9pm. Funeral Saturday Dec 30th, 2pm at St. John the Baptist church, Chapel Arm. Interment to follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Long Harbour Road.

  2. Our condolences to Lew’s family. I’ve seen Lew very little over the last 45 years, mostly at weddings, however I do recall our high school years in Norman’s Cove and often think back on those days fondly. —- Rick and Irene Temple, White City, Saskatchewan
