Leonard Harvey Hillier

HILLIER, Leonard Harvey, Passed peacefully away on Monday, January 15, 2018 at the Miller Center, after a short battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving wife and children & family, Leonard Harvey Hillier age 63 years.

Predeceased by his loving parents Raymond and Leah Hillier, father -in-law, Emerson Mercer, grandparents  Fredrick and Rhoda Smith,  Richard & Sarah Hillier,brother Reginald Stanley Hillier, brother-in-law, George Mercer also nephew and great nephew.

Leaving to mourn with loving and cherished memories of 41 years wife Maxine, daughter Jennifer (Shawn) Drover, son Stephen (Colleen) Hillier, 4 precious grandchildren; Owen, Braden, Hannah and Shawna, mother-in-law, Ruby Mercer.

Brothers & sisters; Hilda (Calvin) Reid, Ron (Jean), Clyde (Bonnie), Linda (Dave), Rose (Howard) Huges, Andy (Sherry), Fred (Gloria), Donna, Allison (Bob).

Brother & sisters-in-law; Don (Tina) Mercer, Brenda, Lois (John) Wakeham, Sandra, Darlene (Leonard), Lorraine (Kevin) Hall also a large number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

Resting at Holloway’s Funeral Home, Whitbourne. Visitation Wednesday 4:00 – 9:30 pm. Thursday 10:00 am – 9:30 pm. Friday 10:00 am – 12:00 noon.

Funeral service will be held at the Anglican Church, Blaketown on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Inurnment at a later date.

No flowers by request. Donations may be made to the Harvey Hillier Memorial Fund.

  4. My deepest sympathies to the Hillier/Mercer families. Harvey will on through his children and grandchildren as well as his brothers and sisters. Although he won’t be physically present, he will live eternally.

Stephen, Maxine and Jennifer thoughts and prayers are with you all durning this difficult time I know first hand what it is like to lose a father although time heals you never really fully overcome the loss of a love one but they always will be in your heart.
