Melba, Darlene, girls and families…Sorry to read about Vern’s passing today. I had some of the funniest memories at your house playing cards on Saturday nights years ago (rain or shine)!! 120’s were a laugh and then all the different other games of poker were so new to this Dunville girl. I never left with much money in my pot, but so loved the game. Great memories for me and I’m sure you have many more stories, adventures and jokes from Vern. The last time I saw Vern was getting an ice cream at Moorlands a few years ago with my Dad. Got a big hug and told a few stories. Hold his memories close to your hearts. Know I’m thinking of you all in the days ahead. Sending Love. RIP Vern.
