  1. I remember growing up myself and Brian Barron would save here house for last when delivering the newspaper because she would always ask us to stay for a visit and give us a feed of whatever she had baked at the time. Then later on in life, I was her neighbor and she would call to say meet her at the fence because she had a fresh loaf of bread for me. She was an amazing lady and will be dearly missed.

  2. Wayne, Don, Bob and families: We are so sorry to hear of your mom’s death. She was a great lady and no one in Whitbourne had a bad word to say about her. She had so many visitors in her kitchen and always had a smile and a lunch. When your dad died I think a large part of her died also. We are sorry we can’t be there but you will be in our thoughts and prayers as you mourn your great loss.

It’s been a few years now since I left Whitbourne to move to Ottawa, but I remember many happy hours Sonny and I spent visiting with Dot and George. She was a very special person and always made us feel so welcome.

  6. So sorry for your loss. We are thinking of you. I will always remember Aunt Dot cooking on her wood stove and taking care of Great Nan. She would always let me put wood in the stove, that was a highlight of my visit when I was young. Always making terrific meals when we visited and welcoming us in her home. Her beautiful smile grinning ear to ear, and her sparkling eyes. May she Rest In Peace.

  15. To the Noseworthy Family – Sending you sincere condolences on the recent passing of your mother. My mother, Shirley Parsons, shared a room with Dot at Karwood Retirement Retreat in Paradise; and they became good friends during that time. She was truly a lovely lady, and we had many great chats during our visits. I know you will have many happy memories of your mom that will keep her close to your hearts.
