Freddy, I didn’t know you a long time but the time I spent with you was precious. You were such a fun person to be around. I will miss you. xo
A very nice man and certainly a great friend to all at Long Harbour where he had his cabin. My condolences to Walt(Bev) and the rest of his buddies.
Condolences to the Martin family and his friends.
So saddened to hear of Freddie’s passing. He sure will be missed by everyone. A gentle kind soul who was loved by many.
We first met Freddy at Avondale while him and Dianne were camping at the Mill (before it was the park) about 15 years ago. It didn’t take long to become friends with them both. He was trying to get his four wheeler started, and after watching him for many hours, he finally knocked on our camper door and asked to help him. Him and Ronnie became instant friends and the next thing I knew, he was sat at our table every time we went camping. We have many good memories of Freddy and had many laughs with him. Freddy holds a special place in our hearts. He always gave me small tokens for my daughter when we visited, he was always drawing her something, or making something for her. We didn’t get to visit him often, only about 3-4 times a year since he moved to Long Harbour, however, he always welcomed us with open arms. He was a kind of person that you loved to be around and he loved company. He didn’t have an easy life, but with all the friends he met over the years he was given the best life possible. He appreciated everything anyone ever did for him, he often told me that. We will miss you Freddy, you were one-of-a-kind and your memory will live on among friends and family. Til we all meet again my friend. xoxo
