Albert Leslie Warren

June 9th, 1964-June 9th, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Albert Warren (Bert) of Chapel Arm Age 57. Bert is predeceased by his mother and father (Frances and William Warren) and three of his best buddies, Darren Warren, Tommy Reid, and Oral Newhook.

Forever remembered and dearly loved by wife and best friend of 37 years Suz, daughter Lisa, son Craig, daughter in-law Candace and two beautiful granddaughters Claire his diamond and Allison his treasure. Brother Ken (Lori), Sister Kay (Joe) sister in-law Lorelei (John) and mother and father in-law Vinnie and Norm Thorne.  Nieces and Nephews Liz (Kenny), Steve (Melissa), Cory (Jessica), Izzie, Sydney, Makenzie, Braedon, Ella, Scott, and Freya.  A special mention to Jim and Helen Griffin who became a big part of his family.  Bert was a loving husband, father, father in-law, grandfather, brother, and uncle.  He was loved and respected by all who were blessed to know him.

Bert grew up in Chapel Arm where he met and married his soul mate and buddy at the young age of 17. Soon after they started their family and had two children who he dedicated his life to.  He passed on his life for the outdoors to Craig and Lisa, always taking them fishing, hunting for moose and rabbits, skidoo runs in the woods or down the track.  Bert was a phenomenal operator learning from his own father’s construction company.  He passed on his skill and passion of the trade to his son who will be quick to tell you that he learned from the very best.  Throughout his career, Bert made many friends that always kept in contact with him and if you ask them, they’d all say that any day on the job with Bert was a good one.

Bert had a significant number of friends who loved to gather around in the garage for a drink of rum and a feed of deep-fried fish.  He made THE best deep-fried fish you’ve ever tasted!! Bert and Suz spent many weekends down the track at their trailer and if you ever drove by you were always welcomed by that smiling face, we all know so well.

And finally, the light in Bert’s life his two granddaughters Claire and Allison.  Bert had many roles in his life but becoming a grandfather was his greatest blessing.  From trips down the track for sleepovers, snuggled into poppy’s arms on the couch, and being there for every moment of their lives. There was nothing Poppy Bert didn’t or couldn’t do for his two girls, they had him wrapped around their finger and he loved them with all his heart.

“If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever”

“If Bert can’t fix it, it can’t be fixed”
