It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful father, grandfather, father in law, brother, uncle and friend.

Cyril passed away peacefully at the Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion in Carbonear surrounded by his loved ones. Preceded in Death are his parents Rose and John Barron, sister Aggie as well brothers Darry and Kevin.

Cyril was a very hard worker and provided well for his family. He loved his job at the Whitbourne Youth Center where he worked for over 30 years. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren and family.

Cyril enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved going for his summer drive to Nova Scotia to visit his sisters Debbie and Theresa. He enjoyed a good flea market, funny movie and good plate of fries and gravy with a burger.

Cremation has taken place. There will be a private family gathering in his name at Holloways Funeral Home on Monday, May 23,2022  from  12:00-2:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm at the Funeral Home.

Love Leaves A Memory- Those we love don’t go away. They walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed and very dear. For death leaves a heartache, no one can heal. And love leaves a memory, no one can steal.
