June 5th, 1945 – April 21st, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Aloysius Culleton of Whitbourne on April 21st, 2023, in his 77th year. Predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Margaret Culleton, as well as siblings Paddy, Ron, Madonna, Joan(Fred), Paula, Margie, Michael and Betty.

Aloysius is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Glenneth, his 2 daughters, Colette(Ramsey) and Yolanda(Todd), 4 precious grandchildren, Kiera, Shayla, Tianna and Tyler.

Aloysius has also left behind his 2 brothers, Lesley and Ken(Ginger), brother in laws Tony, Butch, Otto(Irene) and sister in laws Mary, Linda, Angela and Minnie. Also left behind a large number of nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Special thank you to the staff at Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion 1st floor. Your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten.

Resting at Holloways Funeral Home, Whitbourne.

Visitation: Monday, April 24th, 2023, from 2 -4 pm and on Tuesday, April 25th,2023, from 10 -12.

Funeral Service on Tuesday, April 25th, 2023, at 2 pm from St. Alphonsus Church, Whitbourne. Interment to follow at the Whitbourne Roman Catholic Cemetery.

Donations in memory of Aloysius can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Newfoundland(http://alzheimer.ca/nl/en)

So sorry to hear all passed but my heart aches for you Steve is gone seven years now and it’s so hard to deal withevery day I met al many years ago when he came to kitchener and he was so nice to me Steve thought a lot about him maybe they can have tea up there and talk of old times until we meet them again. Thinking ing of you and family love and God bless and protect you all Mary griffin and family

  4. Our sincere condolences to Glen and Family on Al’s passing. Times like these are hard to comprehend and we can only take solace that Al is in a better place and will suffer no more.

    Al will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him and calling him a friend. We have lots of wonderful memories of Al over the years and at times like this words cannot express the sadness one feels.

  7. The Culleton brothers were friends of mine for many years especially in our youth. My condolences go to Glenneth and all of the extended family.

  8. So sorry for your loss. Joe recalls talking to Al a few years ago when he was in Markland. Joe was friends with Paddy, they were the same age. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
