Sarah Frances Griffin (Pretty)

Passed peacefully away at her home in Chapel Arm Sarah Frances Griffin(Pretty) on November 28th 2023.
Predeceased by parents James and Nellie Pretty,  husband  Vincent, son  Edward ,grandsons Cody and
Christopher, her 7 sisters  1 brother  and special son in law   Greg .Leaving to mourn with broken hearts a loving sister Nellie Power and  Sarah’s 11 children:
Chris (Elwood) Cecilia (Jerome) Sharon(Rick) Jim(Helen) Gerald(Tammy) Glenda(Gus) Darren(Shirley)Rodney(Christine) Donnie(Nancy) Dwayne(Shelly)
Patricia  (Ken) 22 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren plus a large circle of family and friends . Cremation  has taken place. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 Friday December 1st at Holloway’s Funeral Home in Whitbourne.  Sarah(Sadie) was known for her wonderful story telling and her funny jokes. She will be
sadly missed by those who knew her. Funeral Mass  will take place on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Roman Catholic Church, Chapel.  Inurnment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery on  Long Harbour Road.
Rest peacefully in the arms of the angels. Always in our hearts .We love you

  3. Aunt Sade even though you are not actually my aunt by relation you have always been considered an aunt to me. I’m not even sure how it came about calling you Aunt Sade but I was always proud and felt close enough to you to call you my Aunt. I will miss you and will always think of you every time I drive by your house. You had such a special heart loved everyone with all your might. You were a big part of our lives growing up as kids and I will forever cherish the memories I have of you. Until we meet again love you Aunt Sade.
