It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the
passing of a loving husband, father, brother, brother in-law and

uncle.

Thomas Mark Hickey
July 20th, 1946 – July 16th, 2024

Predeceased by father Leonard Hickey, mother Margaret Hickey,
sisters Josephine, Cecilia, Rosella, brothers Leonard, Patrick,
father in-law Robert Mercer, brother in-law Oral Newhook, niece
Kerri-lee Newhook and nephew Jason Mercer
Leaving to mourn with heavy hearts his wife of 28 years Lisa
(Mercer), sons Mark (Tammy), Chris (Harley), William (Vincent).
Brother Francis Hayes, sister Marcella (Doreen). Mother in-law
Elise Mercer, sister in-law Debbie (Art), Ivey, brother in-law
Eugene, Ross (Carolyn), Rodney (Pauline). Also a large circle of

nephews and nieces, whom he adored.

Also leaving to mourn a large circle of work family and friends from
the Whitbourne Youth Center, where Tom worked for almost 35

years.

Tom was a kind and gentle man who enjoyed his music and
dance with family and friends. He will be forever in our hearts.

Visitation will be held at Holloway’s Funeral Home in Whitbourne
on Friday July 19th, 7;00 pm-9;00 pm, Saturday July 20th 10;00 am-12;00pm &
2;00 pm-3;00 pm. Followed by a Celebration of Life at 3;00 pm at Holloway’s
Funeral Home.
